On Monday morning, we received a very special delivery from a lovely lady from Happy Hens. She bought with her 10 eggs which were going to hatch into chicks in a few days. We were SO excited!

We have been given instructions on how to look after the eggs whilst they're incubating and how to look after them once they have hatched. In English, we have also been learning about eggs and how they hatch. We have learnt lots of new vocabulary and seen many pictures of the different stages of the chicks' life, so we know what to expect. We cannot wait for them to hatch!!
