World Book Week 2024!

A brilliant book week!

From Monday 4th March to Friday 8th March, our pupils celebrated World Book Week.

The primary aim was to instil a love for reading amongst the pupils, which has been recognised as a pivotal factor in determining a child's future success.

We began the week with a thrilling book swap within classrooms, fostering a culture of sharing and exploration of diverse reading realms. The highlight of the week was a delightful pyjama dress-up day accompanied by a captivating story session led by the Headteacher, creating a cosy and immersive environment for young minds to delve into the enchanting world of storytelling!

Adding an element of intrigue, the "masked reader" activity engaged all pupils as they eagerly guessed the identity of the reader concealed behind the mask, sparking curiosity and excitement.

To add even more fun to the experience, pupils participated in dressing up as their favourite book characters and set up reading areas in their classrooms.
