STEM Week In Reception

Class experiment and finger painting.

Today Pomegranate Tree Class held our own exciting experiment! We learnt all about different materials and created 3 houses made from: straw, wood and bricks. We then conducted our experiment by using a fan and seeing how long each house took to fall (or not!).

After, our inquisitive pomegranates decided to have a go at their own investigation and see if they could create a house made from bricks and see if it would fall!

We learnt all about stable and wobbly structures. One of the students said, "Lego bricks are strong. There is a platform underneath and it is square."

We then spent our afternoon fingerprinting and creating the correct number of stems for each flower.
