We talked about all the things Bob did throughout his day and worked together to sequence his daily routine in the correct order.

We then Compared Bob's routine to our own. The children discussed their morning routines and shared them verbally with their friends, talking about what they do to get ready for school. They then wrote their own routines in their books, using their phonics knowledge to spell words independently.

To continue our learning about space, we explored the Full Moon and the different moon phases. We learnt that the Moon has large circular dents called craters. These craters were created when rocks from space crashed into the Moon's surface a long time ago.

The children then created their own full moon pictures by tracing around a plate to make a circle before adding texture and sparkle to represent the Moon's craters and rocky surface. Their finished artwork looks fantastic and is proudly displayed in our classroom.
