Chigwell Row fun!

Year 4 had a fantastic day at Chigwell Row, where they took part in a range of exciting outdoor activities. The children enjoyed making their own delicious pizzas, learning how to cook them over an open fire, and putting their focus and determination to the test during an archery session. It was a wonderful day filled with fun, teamwork, new skills, and unforgettable memories.

'On our trip, we went to Chigwell Row Campsite. We learnt how to cook a pizza wrap on a fire. We also did archery, we wore arm pads, on the hand we did not write with. It was hard to pull the arrows, we needed a lot of strength but I really enjoyed it!' - Ayrah.

'I like how we all made a cheese and tomato pizza and did archery.'–Aisha

'I enjoyed archery the most because it was fun and creative.'–Aiza & Ilyas

'I loved the flavour of the pizzas we made, and the taste of the cheese after it was put on the fire. It was the best!'–Ayan

'My favourite was how we saw the pizza being slowly cooked on the fire and how the pizza came out.'–Yusuf
