World Book Week Author Visits!

From History to Heroes: Celebrating World Book Week in Style!

Following our ‘Eid-ul-Fitr break, our school was alive with literary excitement as we celebrated World Book Week with two phenomenal guest authors.

Tuesday 24th March: A Deep Dive into History

On our first day back, we were honoured to host the renowned scholar and speaker, Ustaadha Fatima Barkatulla. She captivated our pupils with insights into her highly anticipated new book, Aisha (رضی اللہ عنھا): Mother of the Believers. It was a profound session that brought history to life, leaving our students inspired by the legacy of one of the most influential women in Islamic history.

Wednesday 25th March: Adventure and Empowerment

The energy stayed high on Wednesday as we welcomed the esteemed Kosser Abdul Aziz - author, educator, and a powerhouse advocate for women’s empowerment. She shared the vibrant world of her latest book, The Fabulous Five in Ramadan. The session was as energetic as the book itself, sparking plenty of smiles and a newfound excitement for storytelling among our young readers.

It was a week filled with inspiration, big ideas, and a shared love for reading. A huge JazakumUllahu Khairan to our guest authors for making this World Book Week truly amazing!
