AMS Public Speaking Competition!

Mr. Angga Kara guides pupils on how to overcome stage fright and deliver impactful speeches.
This October, our school had the honour of hosting the second Association of Muslim Schools (AMS) interschool Public Speaking Competition, facilitated by renowned executive coach, TEDx speaker, and social entrepreneur, Mr. Angga Kara, who guided pupils through the essentials of public speaking and how to deal with psychological barriers, such as stage fright, burnout, and anxiety.

Pupils from four visiting schools collaborated with our own pupils to master formal public speaking skills and techniques. The day began with an interactive "ice-breaker" centered on global fears, easing participants into open conversation.

The energy peaked during the final session, where teams applied their new skills by giving a spirited speech on a topic that they were passionate about.

Masha’Allah, it was inspiring to see these future leaders find their voices. Our young orators had a fantastic experience, and we eagerly anticipate hosting them again insha’Allah!
