Over the forthcoming week and the winter break, the children are asked to create a poster on the issue of homelessness. The children have been discussing the issue of homelessness in assembly and in the classroom. As a school we have collectively provided food to the homeless Alhumdulillah.
The poster must be designed by the children to raise awareness on the issue of homelessness. Children are asked to make their posters eye-opening, creative and the message they are aiming for to be clear.
This can be done in any way they wish, including pictures, photos, poems etc. They need to hand in
their posters to Ms Abdulla (Deputy Head) by Wednesday 8th January 2020 and the winners will be
announced in assembly and receive a prize Insha’Allah.
