Year 4 Mango Gets Out into Nature!

Year 4 Mango had a brilliant time visiting South Park to see nature up close! We really wanted to take our current topic, "Cycles," out of the classroom and see it happening in the real world.

The kids got stuck into some awesome hands-on activities. They loved exploring different habitats and spotting the local wildlife. The best part was seeing everyone link what we found outside to our rainforest topic! It was so cool to hear the class comparing the food chains and life cycles right here on our doorstep with the ones we've been studying in the jungle.

'For our Drop-Down Day, we visited South Park. My favourite part was looking in the muddy water and finding insects and bugs. I learnt a lot about a variety of swans, ducks and geese. There were so many, such as an Egyptian goose. My class and I really enjoyed this trip!' - Aisha B

Allah is Al Khaliq – who made us all and made systems and cycles that sustain humanity and life. He created the earth's environment that sustains us through complex food chains and webs and ecosystems. There is cyclical movement to everything!
