Last week in Fig Tree, we conducted an exciting science experiment to discover whether substances such as sugar, coffee and sand would dissolve in hot and cold water! 

We found that sugar and coffee are soluble and did dissolve in the water. However, sand is insoluble and does not dissolve in water.
