Year 4 attended an exciting workshop on Digestion called "It takes guts !" Simon the Scientist showed us how the stomach works by mixing food we eat in bowl, then squashing it all in a bag.

We even saw a keyhole camera recording of a journey through intestines and a colon.

Then we looked at some of the galleries on Medicine and Health.

"The best bit was when Simon ran up to all the audience and squirted everyone with fake saliva but actually it was just water.Everyone was screaming !"
